Without a Word

It's truly alarming.. like a mafia boss of sorts..

so this guy becomes a Christian, a business guy, dabbling in real estate.. becomes a Christian in a trendy cutting edge denomination.. has some tension with his leaders but manages to move back to his hometown to plant a church for that denomination. The church takes hold and begins to grow under a tight fisted leadership ruled by this guy.

Down the road, he has some further tensions with the leaders above him.. so he meets with his staff that he has put together consisting of a doctor, a lawyer, a journalist and several other ppl of power in the community.. and swears them all to an oath that they will not repeat the discussions of that meeting with anyone.. THEY ALL SWEAR TO THE OATH. Needless to say such a thing is against scripture on every count.

The pastor guy tells his staff that he wants to pull the church out from under that certain denomination and create a new denomination all his own, and he wants to know who is willing to go with him and help him make the transition... everyone agrees to go with him.. but one man has a stipulation.. he will go, if the pastor goes to his leaders and makes peace with them first.. he said that he didn't feel that God would bless what they were about to do if they didn't resolve certain issues according to Scripture.

The pastor was literally livid.. and a chain of horrid and cruel events followed which were typical methods of this guy to maintain absolute control of everyone and everything.. I have blogged I think on this blog about much of it. So the pastor outs this guy.. puts a 6 month gag order on him using fear for his family to silence them and the rest of the leadership not only goes along with it, but helps to terrorize this family into silence.

The common ppl have no idea, and the low level leadership has no idea.. but are instructed of the story they are to tell everyone under the guise of making the turnover of leadership a smooth transition. So the pastor resigns and announces that it is because he needs to attend to his wife's ailing father in another state and to have knee surgery.. and he appoints his lawyer lackey and journalist wife to be the new pastor. The turnover goes without a hitch.. everyone is all smiles and thinking it is God and has been done scripturally and peacefully and all is well.

Altho there are some dark and evil things done behind closed doors and under-handedly that are heartbreaking, shattering the hearts and lives of good ppl. But God kept them in the dark time and after much torment moved them far away.. to another country even.. and gave them their hearts desire on the mission field and blessed their ministry and family beyond their hopes and dreams. They are forever scarred, but well.

In the mean time, this pastor is back and forth in his travels but never really leaves the church. He is given the title pastor emeritas, and is consulted over every issue of business and ministry of the church without the knowledge of the church body.. again, as he mentored his leadership, they answer to him, and all leadership business is done secretly and according to his mandate. His lackey serves as the official pastor of the church, tho he is not the one who runs it.

Each new church plant of other denominations is befriended.. their reputation is impeccable.. the pastors and lawyers and business ppl they pull into their church and put on staff are largely selected for their standing and reputation in the community to give sway to this church leadership.. who they all assume is the seated pastor. But the reputation of the pastor emeritas is so bad.. few would shake hands with such a man or such a church if they knew the true face of who actually owns it.

It is a nasty tale.. but thrives in our city. The face of it all is beautiful and trendy and fun.. but the fruit of it is filth and adultery and lies and yuck. So much is hindered in the churches that shake hands with it because they are so busy trying to be popular in the city and community, that they lack discernment. The prophets are murdered and scattered and in hiding, rejected and outcast from the church, while ppl with zero discernment tell the pastors eccentric and lofty things that they want to hear.. tickling the ears of those in power.

This is not a tale just in my city.. it is happening in many cities and many countries.. corruption in leadership.. idolatry among the ppl of their leaders and mentors.. a bride dirtied by wolves wearing masks and setting themselves up as divine authority, some not even realizing what god they serve, consumed with deception as they are mouthpieces of it.. but there is a cry that has gone up.. there are questions being asked of God.. there is a request for direction, for intervention, for cleansing and healing.

Their is a turning over this city.. the clouds are darkening and the voice of the Lord is declaring that it is enuff.. and war is about to come down into the camp.. into the church.. not your buildings and your earthly domains.. but in spiritual places, thru doors that will affect the physical atmosphere and locale of the true church.. it's coming.. watch for it.. a time of extremes.. extreme war and violence overlaid with extreme peace and joy.. eating at the table with our enemies and yet the presence of God being so heavy that they tremble and are unable to swallow their own food.. they say all the right things, they adjust every hair on their head to appear perfect, they can charm the rattle off a snake with their kindness and flattery... but all their pleasantries will fall to the ground and be as sludge in the gutter.. with no confrontation, with no spoken words of rebuke, with no tit for tat.. the presence of God will walk into the room and all will come to order, all will snap into place, all will be aligned simply by his breath that fills the air..

He stands ready to come.. and he will without hesitation..
as his bride calls for him in her misery and need and love for him..
he will come...
if we ask him to,
he will come.
